Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, LAT3R collects your name, email address, and authentication information. You may also add a username, bio, and avatar, and choose whether your profile is public or private.

Goal information. LAT3R stores the goals you create, including titles, descriptions, milestones, actions, progress, plans, reflections, notes, target dates, and categories.

Social information. If you use LAT3R's community features, we store your posts, images, comments, likes, followers and following relationships, Circle memberships, Circle posts, Circle chat messages, reports you submit, accounts you block, and notifications.

Age group. During registration, you tell us whether you are 13–17 (Teen) or 18+ (Adult). This is used to provide the appropriate safety experience.

LAT3R uses the information we collect to operate the platform — creating and managing your goals, generating plans, tracking progress, providing social and community features, personalizing your experience, communicating with you, enforcing our rules, and protecting the safety of the community.

LAT3R offers AI-powered features, including "Ask LAT3R" coaching and AI-generated goal plans. To provide these features, LAT3R sends information necessary to answer your request to the underlying AI service used by LAT3R.

Based on the current implementation:

• "Ask LAT3R" sends your question, the selected context type, any goal context you select, and a limited amount of recent conversation history.
• Goal planning sends relevant goal and planning information needed to generate a plan.
• AI-generated goal plans may be stored as part of your Goal so you can review and use them later.
• "Ask LAT3R" conversation history is currently stored locally in your browser (using browser local storage) rather than as server-side conversation records.

The AI service used by LAT3R may have its own logging or training practices. Those practices are determined by the AI provider and should be verified with the provider. LAT3R does not represent these provider practices as known facts until they are verified.

LAT3R relies on the following third-party services:

• Base44 — hosting, platform infrastructure, database, file storage, AI, and email delivery.
• Google — used for optional OAuth (sign in with Google) authentication.
• Stripe — subscription billing infrastructure. Stripe is currently in test mode only; LAT3R is not currently processing live subscription charges.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

LAT3R does not store payment card numbers or full payment instrument details. Payment instruments are handled by Stripe.

LAT3R stores subscription-related identifiers and status information (such as plan, status, and billing period) as needed to manage your subscription. Because LAT3R is not currently processing live charges, no live payment information is being collected at this time.

Public information. You can choose to make your profile public. Public user-generated content — such as public posts, public goals, and Circle activity — may be visible to other LAT3R users.

Private information. You can set goals to private. Private goals and other owner-only information are protected according to LAT3R's privacy and access controls and are not shown to other users.

LAT3R is intended for users 13 and older. Users 13–17 receive the Teen experience; users 18 and older receive the Adult experience.

Age group is collected to provide the appropriate safety experience. LAT3R uses self-declared age groups — we do not perform identity or age verification.

LAT3R applies additional restrictions to users ages 13–17. These include preventing access to adult-restricted content and applying age-appropriate safety rules to AI features.

Based on our review of the current application, LAT3R does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels.

"Ask LAT3R" conversation history is currently stored in your browser's local storage. Standard session and authentication tokens are used to keep you signed in.

LAT3R takes reasonable measures to help protect information, including access controls and server-side privacy rules that limit what different users can see and do. However, no system is perfectly secure, and LAT3R cannot guarantee absolute security.

LAT3R retains your information as necessary to operate the platform, meet legal obligations, maintain security, support moderation, resolve disputes, and for other legitimate purposes where appropriate. Specific retention periods may vary, and LAT3R has not published fixed retention timeframes.

You can control certain aspects of your information through your account settings, including your profile visibility (public or private), goal visibility, bio, and display name.

LAT3R does not currently offer self-service account deletion or data export. Until those features exist, you can contact LAT3R support to request account or privacy changes, and we will review and respond to your request.
